In the beginning was your blank canvas so full of possibilities.

You worked out your grandiose ideas of what you wanted to paint.

At first you enjoyed the process as you saw your imagination come to life.

Then at one point you made a mistake here or there and you tried to use the paint to cover it up but no matter how hard you tried you still knew they were there.

As you now stand at the canvas only a few inches away you see every flaw and every imperfection. “This isn’t how it was meant to be”.

But if you would only take a few steps back to see the art you created as a whole, you would see what I see, a beautiful painting.
